TO: Lisa Jo Bowen, who is named in a Petition for Probate of Will filed in the above-styled matter as one of the next of kin of Carolyn C. Thompson, a/k/a Carolyn Compton Thompson, and who based upon her address in said Petition resides outside the State of Alabama

Please take notice that on June 8, 2026, Petitioner Renea T. Rupp, together with her attorney, the Hon. James D. Moffatt, filed with this Court a Petition for Probate of Will. Also filed with this Court on June 8, 2026, was a document purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Carolyn C. Thompson, a/k/a Carolyn Compton Thompson.

Please also take notice that pursuant to an Order Scheduling Hearing entered by this Court on June 10, 2026, a hearing on said Petition for Probate of Will, has been scheduled for August 11, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Probate Court Hearing Room located in the Clinton Street Courthouse Annex, 100 South Clinton Street, Suite D, Athens, Alabama 35611. You may appear at said hearing and in accordance with Alabama law may contest the same, if you see proper.
