This notice is to inform the last known registered owner, lienholder(s) or lessor/lessee that, pursuant to Alabama sect.32-13-1 through 8 of an abandoned vehicle for towing and storage or repair and labor. THE STORAGE CHARGES WILL CONTINUE TO ACCUMULATE AT THE RATE OF $ 15.00 PER DAY.
If this motor vehicle is not redeemed by the recorded owner or lienholder of record within 30 calendar days from the date of this notice, the motor vehicle shall be considered abandoned as defined in Section 32-13-1, Code of Alabama 1975. The motor vehicle may then be sold pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Abandoned Motor Vehicle Act as provided in Title 32, Chapter13, Code of Alabama 1975.
The right of registered owners and secured parties, if any, to contest the right of vehicle sale within ten (10) days of the scheduled date of sale by application for a hearing before the circuit court of the county of the sale location.
The owner or lien holder of the motor vehicle may reclaim this vehicle upon payment of expenses or charges incurred in its removal or repairs and storage, and presentation of proof of ownership, which may be evidenced by a certificate of title or memorandum certificate of title to the motor vehicle.
This vehicle will be sold at a public auction in accordance with applicable laws of the State of Alabama if not claimed prior to auction date.
