TO: Jacob Daws, who is named in a Petition filed in the above-styled matter as one of the heirs and next of kin of next of kin of Darry Wayne Daws, a/k/a D.W. Daws, being identified as his grandson and also being identified as the son of Joe Alan Daws, and whose whereabouts are unknown.

Please take notice that on May 27, 2026, Petitioner Kevin L. Daws, together with his attorney, the Hon. William G. Mathews, filed with this Court a Petition of Kevin L. Daws for Letters Testamentary on the Estate of Darry Wayne Daws, a/k/a D.W. Daws, Deceased, and a document purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Darry Wayne Daws.

Please also take notice that pursuant to an Order Scheduling Hearing entered by this Court on May 29, 2026, a hearing on said Petition of Kevin L. Daws for Letters Testamentary on the Estate of Darry Wayne Daws, a/k/a D.W. Daws, Deceased, has been scheduled for August 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Probate Court Hearing Room located in the Clinton Street Courthouse Annex, 100 South Clinton Street, Suite D, Athens, Alabama 35611. You may appear at said hearing and in accordance with Alabama law may contest the same, if you see proper.
