PUBLIC NOTICE TAKE NOTICE that on May 13, 2024, at 4:30PM, the Athens City Council shall hold a public hearing concerning a proposal to revise the city council districts within the City of Athens, Alabama. The hearing shall be conducted at the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Athens, Alabama, located at 200 Hobbs Street West, Athens, Alabama 35611. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend the hearing and will have an opportunity to learn about the proposal and to address the council. Copies of the proposed ordinance, and related map, concerning this proposal are available at the City Clerks office, located at Athens City Hall, 200 Hobbs Street West, Athens, Alabama 35611.
